Brad did you get my PM? I have a 70 that I will be finished with hopefully in Oct. I'm on vacation at this time so am unable to post any pics. I will post a price when it is actually for sale. Bob H.
Bob, I didn't get a PM. I did receive an email that has the same message that is posted above. There is room in my PM box, perhaps you could try again if you have more info about the car. Thanks, Brad
I see the owner of the car in the link has upped his price from $22 000 to $25 000 in an effort to sell the car. ou:
$25k CAD being today Approx. $23,600 USD for a NOM (non original motor) or number's matching car? Has anyone seen this car in person? Should be stellar for a replica car at that number, no? uzzled:
Made a verbal agreement to purchase a car tonight. The owner wants to do some work to it before I get it. I won't say much about it until I have it in my hot little hand. But, suffice it to say it's a BBB with a 4-speed that was converted by one of the best Buick 4-speed guys on the board. And best of all, it's only a little more than an hour away from me. More to come when the deal is done.... Until then, I won't say much for fear of Murphy's Law.
As you said, "fingers crossed". Good luck with the deal. Looking forward to finding out details once the deal is done.
The current owner is super busy right now (at work and otherwise) and needs to drop a body onto the frame of another Buick he is restoring and attach the suspension etc. so he can regain access to his hoist. He says he'll have the work done to the car I'm buying by fall because he doesn't want to have to store it this winter. I offered to help out, but it is a waiting game... BTW he seems like a great guy, knows his stuff and his Buicks.
i congatulate you. i hope this works out. all u need is patience. however, do not hesitate to bug the current owner every few weeks.
