This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. Discussion in 'Parts wanted' started by patshotrods, Jan 2, 2020.

  1. I am looking for a nice original 1972 Buick Skylark Hood Emblem that still has the Buick Tri-Shield in Red, White and Blue. The one on my car is very nice it is just missing the colored overlay. I believe the GM Part # is 1239810. Please let me know what you have and send me some pictures if you can. My E-Mail Address is: patshotrods@comcast.net

    Please Advise...

    Thanks for your time!

Are you looking for one already done? I have one but it will need to be re-filled in with paint.

It’s the emblem on the left. I’m keeping the nice one for my ‘72.

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

The Parts Place has reproduced the hood emblem. They have it listed as a '70 model part but the part number listed is the same. I have not purchased on of these so I do not know about the quality.

  11. Thanks Gary! I did see this one on eBay and I am using it as a last resort if I can't find a nice original one. If I do get this one I will post on its quality.
