I have traveled the island over to find not a single bucket seat for my 69 GS350! I realize my boundaries are something like 69-72 Chevelle, Lemans/GTO, Cutlass, 442, Sky's, (A-body), but here on the island either it doesn't exist or is in hiding till I finally order from the mainland. Then of course, there will be seats coming out of the woodworks...
My big question is: Is there a set of buckets from ???? that will bolt into my 69 GS, or am I going to be stuck with shipping or tearing out the brackets to replace with aftermarkets or another brand?
I have confused myself, but I hope everyone understands what I am asking.
    Thanks alot,

Scott, any A-Body GM seat will work for your '69 GS unless you want head rests, but they will still work, you can get the brackets to weld on the floor pan if the car is a bench seat from Year One and others, then all you will need is the seat upolostry from Legendary, Year One, OPG or the others all get the seat covers from Legendary as they are the only vendor that makes it at this time. So hope that helps. Roberta
I have a black '69 coupe rear seat, cheap, but not sure it woiuld be cheap to send to HI!

    Roberta,
I appreciate your offer, but I already have a rear bench. I need the front buckets. If I get the front buckets for my 69, I will have a drivers bucket with headrest for a '68 GS/Skylark. Torn up, but I am sure whoever wants it would change the color anyways.
I realize that any A body bucket will work, but there aren't any located here in Hawaii. At least not listed for sale or at salvage lots.
    Thanks alot Roberta,

I have 1970 Riviera buckets. The upholstery pattern was different, but I had '70 Skylark madrid/waffle grain vinyl put on and they are now sitting very comfortably in my A-body, and 100% correct looking. You need a pair of floor 'adaptors' to swap in buckets if you currently have a bench seat.

are you thinking maybe getting bucket seats out of ....like a newer car... or a camero/firebird? how good is your flooring in the seat area? sounds like a little fabricating is in store. by the way, dont use duct tape to hold the seat in, it dont work well [just kidding]. do you know any good tinners [sheet metal guys]? are there salvage yards in hawaii? that never occured to me.
