Keep it dry and keep it simple. If the water is added, I think it will complicate things and make everyone wait longer in between runs on Friday and Saturday morning. I would like to be able to make more runs.
maybe we can get a nice puddle of vinegar and water with a nice lavendar scent for all you girly-matic drivers to roll through....... something to keep you fresh at the starting line. :kodak:
I was saying it wasn't a real issue at Stanton for myself. Ready to punch a dance card, MR.BRASS!!!!!:moonu:
Make mine "Spring Breeze." If the good Lord had wanted us to drive cars with three pedals, he would've given us three feet! :Smarty:
I prefer the water box.My 68 nova ss 396 has alittle trouble doing a dry burnout for some reason;and I have tried every scenario.but ,when i can just roll my rear tires into the water box,1:95 60 ft. times.and the car with the hammer down;just flat out hooks.chris
The real reason Rusty wants his box wet-n-wild is because it'll promote bigger burn-outs, which means the Polyglas Pimp will sell more rubber, which means he can buy a new leopard-skin trench and 3-foot, pink feather for his fedora. :Brow:
My vote is to keep it dry. As quickly as the cars are now sent down the track it would delay the runs.I also believe it would soon be impossible to avoid getting water on the tires from off the track. Also ,keep in mind that there will be water thrown up into your wheel wells and dripping down on your tires just as you wait for the last yellow.
Well, I guess the good news is that if you are stuck in the staging lanes for a long time, you now know where you can tinkle...........
Tim, Its like "Yo Honey, give me yo' money!!!!" Most of the time, I would be crusin' in my Cutlass with Dubs'. (Come on Dave, show them my ride). One fine person stated that for this economic stimulus package to work, we have to buy things made here in the states. Their suggestion was to drink American beer, visit a tattoo parlor, and have a good time with a hooker!!ou:
Does anybody have a picture of Rusty and photoshop. I believe that this has been a Huggy Bear Hijack. Sorry, Frank.
Depends on how much junk is on the return and pit paths. If I have a bunch of clay dust or sand/little rocks, I like to back into the water and burn it out in the water some. Also, What does happen if someone loses an axle on a pass?! I've never seen anything like that before, but it doesn't sound pretty. How tough are the lanes against massive axle tube or tie rod gouging? Do they shut a lane down for the day?
