You need the radiator overflow tank, which mounts on the inner fender at what would be the top of your picture. If you are not looking for an NOS one, you shouldn't have to pay more thatn $20 for a used one. Try posting for one in Pay It Forward. Someone close by may even give you one.
I think an overflow tank for a 70-72 will fit on your inner fender. Won't be correct for your year though..Put an ad in the parts wanted forum. :TU: Man your quick, Nicholas :laugh:
Andy i believe you're correct, i know my 69 gs400 didnt have a bottle and it was 100% original when i bought it its still pretty much original except for the paint.
there is a junk yard around here that has some 69"s there. when i go back,i'll look around for you.....mike
