 My advice......quit changing jets in the garage and actually bring the car to the race!:beers2: This wil be your second Stanton anniversary, and your 30th jet change.
:3gears: I just have to do a single carb car so I'd be more apt to change jets..... yea right.
Brian, Pull that can of PAM away fro Jim and watch him crumble like Superman around Kryptonite. How many bowl gaskets do you think he has worn out? With the weather forecast that I am seeing, I do not believe that anyone will be complaining about sweating.
Channel 6 Lansing (near Stanton) predicts "possible lake effect rain Friday into Saturday" No percent but their little forcast clouds only showed one drop each.o No: Hope it misses or it's an overnight thing! Party in the trailers!
I just looked at Accuweather's website and they are calling for a HIGH of 59 friday and 56 Saturday.Gonna be chilly fellas!
Here's a link to what's probably the best weather team in the area: http://www.woodtv.com/Global/category.asp?C=2906&nav=menu44_7 I know it will shock Dave H. that private industry actually does something better than the federal government, but the National Weather Service still hasn't figured out there's a big lake just west of here that really affects our weather. My personal forecast for this weekend calls for an 80% chance of personal bests and scattered sand-bagging.
As long as the people at the bottom in unions and the greedy hogs at the top schlopp away at the $$$ trough, while the lower and middle management people (and any unrepresented people) keep the wheels on the wagon, they'll survive. Once you drain that middle, though, you need the help of Uncle Sam......The stubborn mules in the union and the fat hogs at the top don't want to lose any ground...Stay tuned for the next chapter in Federal regulations that provide much $$$ in research and strongly enhance the domestic suppliers in the face of foreign global pressure. Maybe they'll even get back to investing some of the capital back in the U.S. Mulally at Ford, is a good example....just like he did at Boeing when Airbus turned up the pressure. Can't think of any other reason he's there at that $$$ level. Now back to the weather forecast. :beer Looks good!
Might want to make sure everyone has a selection of jets/metering rods. The density altitude is only 1200 Ft right now, vs. last Thursday when it was 3200+ ft.
