Took the car to Osceola Dragway today since the car was all cleaned up, fueled up, and still loaded up from Wednesdays Pontiac rainout.

Made a couple changes to the car over the winter(one actually) and it made a BIG difference in the cars E.T.
I didn't get the car to "hook" until the first round of elimination's(when they finally sprayed the track) Would have been a great pass, but I lifted and slammed the brakes to avoid breaking out(still broke out anyway) the car went through at 92mph,started with a 1.87 60 ft. E.T. was 13.31:shock:

    See ya at Martin:3gears:

I was dialed in at 13.48,and the air wasn't all that great.

Very nice Thomas!!!!!! Set for kill for Martin, MI. I'm glad the car is working so good. It should help you get through the rain out at Norwalk. I hope you Pontiac guys get the magazine race done in the near future as the press would be good for the Stanton race in Sept.

I'm guessing that you're too far to the rear of the car. :)

How come you guys always go your fastest times at Osceola ? Is the stripe at the 1000' ft. mark ??? :moonu:

Some days the results from OC are great, other days you're half second off.
The air semed pretty good yesterday, I live about 15 miles fron the track.
If you are trying to compare it to Martin last year, remeber it was about 95 degrees Sat, vs low 70's this weekend.
Track prep is pretty marginal most times.

Tom I had already heard the good news before I read this. Good job. I see good things coming at Martin.

Keep them hanging on the change Tom, it will help fill the rumor mill until Martin.:beers2: We all need something to talk about.

    Again congrats.

Well, it wasn't changing to a small block chevy:Brow:

Best part of the weekend was while we were loading up, I had a guy come up to me and say, "I can't believe that car went that on those tire's,I'm pretty sure I saw daylight on that last pass":Brow:
