  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy..   3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete. what a way to become a buick man

    well at first i'd like to say hi to all you guys ( and girls)

    the story started long ago when i tried to become a mechanic at an Opel shop and one of the first cars i worked on was an Opel Diplomat w/ a 327 V8 from chevrolet, combined w/ a 400 tranny
    well thats the one i bought about twenty years later
    a good reliable cars with great performance and driven it for about six years
    what happend then ? a drunk guy with daddy's car (only 16 years old)
    had a close encounter with my car with a speed of abouth 50mph

    so i had to find a new ride than
    allthough i have a few cars in my shed like a '75 celica, a toyota MR2 (for the wife) and DAF 66ya (funny Dutch car )
    my priority was a car with a V8 so i called my causin because he has a lot of US stuff
    and yes he got one!!!
    a half restored '70 Buick LeSabre 2doors coupe
    body work is done engine is ready i only have to finish the rest
    sounds simpel but i guess i have to consult you guys over some thing i the future

    luckly she didnt hit the buick, even though you bought it after the wreck. anyways i dont know what i would do if someone totaled my car (my 65 gs convert)
