I saw this on ebay and I'm wondering what color of blue is the paint.I think it look's great with the black top anyone know what code it may be.I don't have a account with ebay so I can't ask the owner. Thanks, Frank
Visit this site for all the original colors: http://autocolorlibrary.com/acl_files/Buick.html Jim is right. If you get the trim tag info, you can confirm. From the pic, I am going with Stratomist.
I'd have to say it's cascade blue code 24. Just bought this one, and that's what it's said to be and it looks the same.
Mike, Are you trying to buy all the GS convertibles??? Well, after looking at the car closely, I noticed it did not have any shadows. So, Cascade Blue looks darker w/o sunlight!
Yes. I seem to have a fetish for 71GS455 4spd Converts. Whenever one is for sale I have to buy it. ou: I thank God that they only made 27 of them (18 455 and 9 Stage1) in the first place. And although this one is originally a GS350 3spd (one of six) upgraded to GS455 4spd I was still attracted like a moth to a light bulb.
I would have guessed both of those cars as Stratomist. We have a 72 Cascade Blue conv., and it's not a bright blue like those. Tim
I'd like to see a pic of someone else's 1971 code 24 cascade blue car. Just for grins, I'll put up two pics of my green 72GS. Obviously in different light situations it looks like completely different colors. First, like in the av.
Secondly, like it looks on an ordinary day out in the open. Sorry to get off topic, but I guess the point is that the metallic colors can change pretty dramatically depending on the light conditions.
why yes....yes he isuzzled: which is why he's gonna sell me that 68 4-spd he obviously has no use for :Brow: after all...its 3 years too old :Smarty: D.
