My personal first choice would have been Sherwood green. Then a lot of people on here chimed in on the Seafoam. My buddy who is doing the car with me also suggested the Seafoam via his wife. Like Patrick said above these colors look blah all faded. When I sprayed it out it looked great. And now that it is painted everyone that comes through the shop seems to really like it. I'm partial to green myself so why not paint it a color we like in the event we don't end up selling it. One of the things that people really like is the Sandalwood interior with it. I don't recall seeing a Seafoam car with Sandalwood interior. Does anyone know if it was ever offered?

I may have missed it? but have you decided on a convertible top color?
If I may suggest? A sandalwood convertible top with this car as well? IMHO would look outstanding!

Yep, Sandalwood top as well. Interior stuff is on a crazy back order time but it's coming.

80% choose blue over green . So doubtful . I haven’t seen 1976 pea green refrigerators in stock anywhere . Chevy does have a burnished saddle looking color on Silverados that looks nice ..
Black is the new red lately .

Something so gratifying about installing hood scoops on these cars. Anyone have underhood plates?

Wow Rich, I was kinda thinking the same about the emblems & Rockers but now you got me even more psyched about mine (Orig. Seamist w/Sherwood painted top, black interior, & tinted windshield only but still..). I'm thinking redlines too (stripper car but had WW originally) and for better or worse can only picture done it w/the original "Deluxe" wheelcovers (aka Volcanoes) but that's easy enough to change. I like different anyway so...

Looks great Sean & looks so different in the different pics. What brand paint is that & did you have to customize the mix or is that the std. formula (if there is one) for Seamist?

It is the standard formula. BASF Diamont. PM your address and I can send you a spray out if you like.

The car looks great! Your hood picture reminded me of one I took of an old car. Sea mist is a great color. 6EE51B96-4A8F-43A2-A103-241E4A08C412.jpeg 198475CA-534E-49CF-9BEC-DBFF36DB7AE4.jpeg

Coming along. Aftermarket grille, trim and front bumper all fit fairly well. Waiting on interior, wheels and tires.

I want to publicly thank Sean (or Shawn, sorry - I forgot) for sending me these sprayouts of the Seamist & Sherwood greens that he offered in this thread so I could finally get a perfect representation of what my car will look like when done - It's Seamist w/a Sherwood painted top (orig. paint shown in pic). I'd be thrilled to have him paint the car when it's eventually ready. 20210427_123437.jpg 20180903_130904.jpg

That's gonna be a gorgeous color combo. Seeing the spray-outs must be a great motivator!

I thought this only happened at my painters shop. I have helped him hang doors and fenders with the same hardware tagged and used in the test fit and after paint its a fight...

Definitely a motivator & will look great! I want to make a poster of it for my shop, lol. Car is a basket case but I'm really excited to get going on it - Been accumulating parts. Fortunately I really like green cars & also happen to really like oddball cars, low option GS's, & 350 4-sp.'s too & this one checks off all the boxes.
