What color would be best?

I'm trying to figure out what color I should get my (soon to be owned) 1970 Buick Electra 225 painted.

....Any Ideas?

 

depends on the interior. we need more info.

 

There's Dark Brown, almost Black interior.....
And there was once a Vinyl top but could either be painted or you could put new vinyl on it.

The color is a Dark Brown, it is not black

 

About 10 years ago, I had a buddy with a '72 442. His car was a chocolate metallic that sounds like it should be hideous, but was gorgeous when you saw it. the vinyl top was saddle. I'm not a vinyl top fan, but the color combo was out of the ordinary, eye-catching, and quite pretty

 

I was thinking about getting the Electra painted a brighter color.

Something that wouldn't be seen out on the road every day.

 

Well, most cars seem to be silvery/gray or black nowadays

that leaves reds, blues, greens, and yellows I suppose. Maybe a nice Aquamist?

 

I was thinking about getting it painted an orange with two brown stripes going over the top of the hodd and the trunk.

Also, I'm thinking about putting on dark brown vinyl (like the interior is) on the top of it.

Anybody know where you can buy different kinds of vinyl?
