I'm just in the process of a full restoration on my 1970 and i'm in need of some help with picking a paint colour. My interior is burnish saddle and is in excellent condition so I would like a colour that looks good with the burnish saddle interior.
Anyone that has any photo's of cars with burnish saddle interior i'd love to see them so I have an idea of what the colour looks like. All I have now is a paint code sheet with the different colours and its tough to picture what it will look like on the car.

if you could email pictures to danwhytock@hotmail.com

    Thanks,

    Dan

With Burnished Saddle interior some nice exterior colors would be Burnished Cinnamon (I'm biased as that is the color of my car!), Regal Black, Arctic White, Rosewood, Cortez Gold, Bittersweet Mist, Sandpiper Beige, or Verdemist Green. Those are all the color combos recommended for a saddle interior in my factory Buick colors chart.

Chris, those are 71 colrs and burnished saddle is 70 interior color. Just off the top of ny head 70 colrs available with that interior would be White, Black, Bamboo Cream, any of the gold colors available in 70 and of course burnished saddle exterior color. Get a 70 brochure or assembly manual and check recommended colors guide.

i know this thread is a few months old but i think burnished copper would look good and so would flame orange

i'm leaning towards burnished copper and cortez gold for my car

car crazy did you ever decide yet?

    Thanks for the feedback.
I still haven't decided yet. My problem is that I like the light colour exteriors like Red, blue, aquamist.(Colours that go good with white and black interiors)
Has anyone ever seen an Aquamist car with burnish saddle interior. Ya I know it does sound a little usuall but I like Aquamist.
any pictures of cars with burhish saddle interior would be great to see still.

    Thanks,

    Dan

The interior in my 70 was all original except for the front buckets. Painted headrest and rear plastics. Anyway, I went with vintage red from 71 if I remember correctly. Top color was Sandlewood by choice, originally tan top with brown body.....Hated to let that one go.

Bamboo Cream is good with Saddle Brown interior and I also had a Fireglow Orange (1969 color) 70 Stage-1 with Saddle Brown interior. Check out my car for sale and see the attached picture.

Thanks for the replies so far.
Bamboo cream is the original colour of the car. I'm tossed up between keeping it the original bamboo cream or changing the colour. Next problem is which I didn't mention at first and not sure if it's a real big deal or not but It's a Stage 1 car so I kinda feel it's best to keep it the original colour even if it's not my #1 choice of colour.
