Truck Inspector for MN State Patrol (civilian), 27+ years. First 2 years, school bus inspection, fixed scale and random motor vehicle inspection. Next 4 years, fixed scale. Remainder-mobile statewide, mainly west metro now. Not ready to splat an Out-Of-Service sticker on my forehead yet, still having a great time! Only complaint is we don't have the majestic trucks up here that run the western states! Roll onnnnnn, big mama! (Joe Stampley said 'dat.)
unemployed geek with a BA in English but have distributed flyers and have been getting work servicing home PCs... hard to believe just HOW MANY and HOW TOASTED home PCs are...
I do free lance work with Innovision Inc. in Southfield MI. Specialties are automotive launch sales training, and psychopharmacology symposiums/seminars. We use radio frequency audience response integrated with real time graphics displays to enhance learning comprehension. At home I own a convenience store that seems to cost more than it earns most of the year. I also am in real estate at Hubbard Lake selling mostly hunting and lake front real estate. One of these days I'll find something that pays so I can spend my time buying cars. I want one of everything, except Camaros, from 1965 to 1971. So far I can almost afford one of anything.

I work free lance on the on/offshore rigs as a directional driller, but nowadays I'm more and more into exporting American cars to the UK.

I am an aircraft maintenenace engineer for a very succesful airline ...we have a fleet of 48 aircraft, half being brand new 737-700NG's. I think this is why I've become so picky...we routinely do maintenance that is imperitive to the safe operation of the aircraft with all our guests onboard, and you check, double check and triple check everything you do, including the piles of paperwork. Mistakes are not allowed. After a while, that attitude filters down to everything you do.... Pic attached of me doing fan blade lube on one of our NG's. later Tim
I work at a small company that builds pressure and flow switches. I've worked on just about every type of switch we make, and now I run the return department, and calibrate Airspeed switchs for aircraft. Basically the light that goes on when a airplane hit's a cetain speed. Been there 4 years in december...
I've been employed for the last 15 years by my local county gov't. (notice I didn't say "working"). The first 13 yrs as a truck driver...the last 2 as "Supervisor of Transportation and Vehicle Maintainence". No I'm not kidding. That's my actual Civil Service title. What a mouthful, huh?
I have been a Machinist for 16+ years. I am really suprised there hasn't been anyone here with this background besides me. I make custom car parts when work is slow. I only wish I had more spare time for moonlighting at a local speedshop. That would be awesome. Maybe when the kids are grown and gone!
