I have a 1970 skylark custom convertible what does the custom represent and is there a regular skylark "no custom"?
The custom had a nicer level interior and yes there is a non custom. Among other things, the Custom interior generally had the dome light in the sail panels and a center arm rest on the bench seat. Nicer door panels and carpet on the lower doors and kick panel. The base had a center roof dome light, basic bench seat, and plain looking door panels. My 69 is the base model, called a Sport Coupe in the literature.
I had a 70 custom convertible. It had a nicer interior, though mine didn't have an armrest. I think the wood-grain decals on the instruments was part of the Custom, though I'm not sure.

Thanks for the chart and the info that explains a lot, I was also having trouble finding the same door panels and now I know why.
It really was the first time I have looked at it. And, looking at it helps me understand the models of these new cars a little better.
