(Seeking advise)aftermarket engine for '87 Buick Regal V8 I have a Automatic(stock) V8 I am having trsnmission problems.. I am considering replacing engine and tranny. Well paying someone to do it hehe... I am interested in beefing up to a 300+hp engine.. I DONT want a 454 Big block blah blah. 250+ would be fine. I am just looking to burn a bit of rubber.(not racing) My Car--- 1987 Buick regal stock... (Lowrider) Spoke rims. Yes its a lowrider.. but F--- some hydros.. I want some beef under the hood.(then hydros later). My wallet wont go over 2g's($2,250) Anyway I think 250-305 HP engine would suit my goals fine. P.s. Also looking for new tranny for a 1987 Buick Regal.. Please post responses here. thanx Sorry for vague description. But i dont know much about engines. PS i am in the N Bay area...
