  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

have to say I've never seen so much knowledge and friendship on any site on the internet as right here.

You people remind me of how it was to turn the key on that 69 Buick GS so many years ago.

You're right. There are a lot of nice people here. Better yet, go to an event and meeting people in person. Everybody is happy to put a face with a name, chew the fat exchanging life stories, and playing with our cars.

    I agree.

I don't even own a Buick. I have Chevies and Pontiacs (and a Ford) but none of the other boards have the same level of wisdom, comraderie and acceptance, so I hang out here.

    Thanks, gentlemen (and ladies)! :TU:

You're right, the Buick community is pretty much a big dopey family that gets along pretty well (most of the time  ).

I think it's because people who own/drive old Buicks tend to be very secure, so there's less "compensating" going on...imho :Smarty: (plus, anybody offends us and we simply drive over their puny little car and crush them into nothingness...)

The only other place online I've found as much openness and willingness to help out is in the Ford Inline Six world...

    Your not alone!

Like Mike said attend a Buick event anywhere you can and throw a few :beer back with your new found friends. You may be surprised at the wide range of people you meet who just love their Buicks. :bglasses:
