What is the carb to manifold torque specification?

    Ive looked in my chassis manual and doug roes book and cant seem to find it.

    my 73 manual doesnt say.. WHat section is that in iw onder if my b ook says that, i couldnt find it thanks.

    It's in the engine section with all the other torque values.

    Take a spare 3/8 rachet and remove the entire handle from it. "Palm" the part that's left and snug up the bolts. DO NOT torque them down, just "snug" them up. The gaskets under the carburetor are thick enough for a good seal without warping the front of the carb to hold it to the intake......Cliff

    Most used Qjets are wharped because of torquing these. Like Cliff says I have learned over the years to make not much more than finger tight.
