This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

Welcome to the board! You came to the right place for buick info. What are you going to work on first with the Riviera? Let us know where the problem areas are and I am sure there is someone here that can offer suggestions on how to take care of it. Later, Randy

Thanks to everyone for welcoming me. I will post pics on a later date. the car is in great condition, no rips on the white leather interior. the car is also white but can use a job. I am having trouble keeping it running. i have put a new rochester carb and I put an electric fuel pump and not the in tank one with a fuel presure regulator. the car is getting gas. it will run for maybe 50,60 seconds and stops, then it is really hard for it to start again. I was thinking it might have something to do with the timing. again it is getting gas.

    Welcome to v8buick !
Only two things needed to make it run - fuel and ignition. Since it's getting fuel, that only leaves one item.
Sounds like a good tune up may be needed. :TU:
