my 70sportwagon "babe" is still wearing her original shade of blue. the firewall tag very bottom line is 12A if i read it right. can anyone tell me what shade of blue this is? ou:
in 70 the choices were : # 20 azure blue(kinda sky blue #25 Gulfstream blue (mid blue) #26 Stratomist blue (mid to darker) #26 Diplomat blue (dark) I think you misread the line because there is no code 12 A (which A would have been a white top)I believe the 12 A is the build time 1st week in december. I believe Pat had a typo up there...paint code 28 is Diplomat Blue. You can check all of them out at www.autocolorlibrary.com .
thanks for the help. after looking at the chips my car must have been repainted. stratomist looks a lot closer than diplomat. happy holidays one and all
