I am at the point of installing new carpet in my 73 4 speed. I would like to use some spray adhesive to help hold it in place so I don't cut the 4 speed hole off center. Any recommendations?? I'd like to try to get something at say a NAPA or Advance Auto, since they are local. Would 3M spray 77 be a good selection???
I have never used any glue as if you need to take out carpet again then you are screwed. I do not think factory used glue either.
I use Wildwood made by DAP. Can get it in a spray can or use a cheep paint gun if you buy it by the Gal. Any good upolstery supplier will have it.
