I have had this hood media blasted and want to preserve it, what should I use?

Also what’s the correct paint for the underside, SEM number ? I figured I might as well paint it now, I don’t have air or spray gun here so it’ll have to be rattle can.

I would take it to a body shop and have them epoxy it,....the SEM or Eastwood 2k spray can epoxy would be ok,...but it would be better to have it done professionally

I just want to protect them from flash rust for now, should I use a primer or just epoxy or? I don’t plan on them getting wet. There’s no getting a body shop to do anything in a reasonable time frame around here lol.

I’m using the self-etching primer, It’s not pretty but at least it will protect them from flash-rusting the bare metal. They’ll have to be sanded and body-worked later

I would still try to keep them somewhat protected from humid conditions.

Yes I agree, just didn’t want them bare metal.
