Hello, I have a set of rally wheels that I don't know the history of. The markings on them are: M4 5 10 W0 M4 10 5 VF To be honest, I'm not even sure that the first letter was really an M when I looked closely at the stamping. It could've been a mix of M's, N's, H's, or W's. I think the W0 means early/mid 1970s based on the charts I'd seen so far. What do the other characters mean? Also, I think their diameters are each 14" since the tires on them are 215/60R14, 265/50R14, and 235/60R14. I don't know the widths. Is there an accurate way to measure the width without removing the tires? Dave
Thanks. That confirms the W0 code. I did not see any reference to the VF code or the M4, 5, or 10 numbers. Are there other charts out there?
WO are 73-78 4" back space VF are 78-79 3 1/2" back space ALL 14" wheels are 6" wide. Under the M4 is a number, that's the year. the 5 10 and 10 5 are dates of that year.
