For everyone out in TV land, it is now time for the name game!

Our good friend Brian Stefina (Mr. Mercury to some in the know) has a beautiful car and the write up of it in the January issue of MCE is fantastic. Now that the car is a star of the printed page, has won hardware, is being shown in one of our shrines, and will undoubtedly get some TV time before it is all said and done, I say that it is time that the car is annoited with a 'nickname'. I have a few in mind and I need some friends to help with the selection: :Brow:

"The Green Hornet"-- This was Mr. Stefina's feared nick name, but since this is not a Hornet, I feel the name does not fit.

"The Two-Tone Pickle"-- Sounded good as I was eating lunch from the local deli.

"Car 54"--Since Brian has probably spent more time running from the police than dreaming about being an officer of the law, I feel this would be a bad selection.

"The Two-Ton Jewel"-- I am sure that very few things this pretty have been seen on the streets of Waterford.

"The Divine Ms. 'M'"-- Lets be frank here, whatever Ms. M wants, Ms. M will get.

These are the selections that I have come up with. If you have any different ideas, please let them be known! Do the American thing and vote! :TU: Sorry, I did not mean to descriminate against my friends north of the border. Vote now!

    Casey,

If you use your imagination a little, the whole chorus of that song kind of fits.
And the sinister look of that car plays right into it.

"Cause your the Green Manalishi with the two pronged crown"
" All night Draggin us up,or your bringing us down"....

And those icons you used rocked! Pun intended.

Now when the Pure Stocks gather
    And Brian gets those looks
At the starting line, the hides he cooks.
He has to make up some ground,
Making the big Merc sing like he do.
I can't believe that he beat me so bad.
    Top end he's sneakin' around,
    Mile per hours like mad.
    Haunting all my dreams,
Making me see tail lights I don't wanna see.

    Cuz he's The Green Manalishi
With the three on the tree.
    All my tryin' is up,
Why can't I chase it down?
    Muscle cars are blown away,
    Better get workin'
Just tryin' to keep from run down again.

it's hard to do this when you have never heard the song
