Im considering selling my 65 GS. I have had the car since 1990, and it is a ca, rust free car. The car is a survivor, and has never been restored. Never had any rust, or repair, and has the original quarters. Only pieces I chanded were the left front fender, and front bumper(hit a dumpster while showing off back in HS:Dou: ) I had a profesional body shop paint the car last year. Original white, with a silver top. The silver top was the painters idea. My car came solid white without a vinal top. The silver really breaks up the white, and looks good on the car. I have extra paint so I can make the whole car white if needed. Interior is the original red. Everything is original exceprt for the seats have been upolstered. Has the original bucket seats, with floor shifter, console and tach that works. Car has a mild 455/TH400 in it now that runs high 11's. The rebuilt ORIGINAL 400ci nailhead, and superturbine 300 will be going back in the car. Car is just as nice as my dads 65 GTO he just sold for 35K. Just want to know what you guys think. Thanks, J

    Pics would be nice!
It sounds like a nice car J, but unfortunately, '65 GS's haven't been selling too well. I've seen several very nice examples with asking prices in the upper teens and low 20's that just haven't been selling. I'd guess your car would be in that price range as well...
Two 65's sold at Barrett Jackson in the mid-teen range. Yours does sound like a better car tho. The hardest part is finding a buyer that can appreciate it...
My advise would be to keep it and enjoy it.:TU:

I wish I had some picts of it. The car is out in Ca at my dad's shop. I need to get it back together. Car is just as it came out of the paint shop. Reason I want to sell it is I build engins as a part time job, and due to demand I build very few buicks. I build lot's of Chevy's, and Pontiac's. I need to build a car to test, and showcase my engines. The lifted 5000LB 4x4 I have right now is not working out as I had thought. I hate to tear up my GS with a roll cage, and swapping chevy, and pontiac engines in and out of it. Plus with the extra weight of a roll cage, and a BB chevy the car would weigh close to 4000lbs. I would really like to sell the buick to someone who would apreciate it, and build a 67-68 pontiac firebird. Thanks, J
