Although the basic parts and overhaul kit are nearly identical for all TH400s, there are all sorts of fine tuning. The most is in the valve body and plate, which has different valves, springs, and orifices for every model. Same for the pressure regulator. The governor can have different weights & springs. And the clutch packs can have different springs and number of clutches. Also, there are different length tails with 2 different dia yokes, some have an O ring on the output shaft, different oil filter & pan, did I mention some are switch pitch? Bell housings were made for many, many different engines. Unfortunately these differences aren't documented. Bruce Roe
