whats this power trunk release belong to?

    bought this many years ago here, told me it would fit skylark ...but it doesn't/don't want to hack the trunk up

    seems to me to be for a bigger Buick model

    Can anybody identify this by looking at it for what model it could be?

    ok..thanks,that's what I didn't want to do .....cut up the opening

    Note: In some applications it may be necessary to trim the deck lid's inner sheet metal in order for the power release mechanism to fit.

    Years ago, at the Buick Centennial in Flint, I bought a power trunk release at a swap meet there. My button is green I think. I put it in the glove box liner. Installing it in my GS took NO modifications at all except t cutting a hole in the glove box liner. I'll see if I can snap a few pictures later.

    This is what I have. I put the button in the glove box liner. Works great.
