Just purchased a 2barrel stock 350 72 skylark, not trying to turn it into a track car but would like to hang with some of these new cars on the road. manifold, carb, cam, headers, posi, looking to upgrade. Open to great advice, not looking to spend a ton of cash. thx guys!!!
Welcome to V8 Buick. Wake that 350 and have some fun. 4 barrel intake. Stock or the TA intake Quadrajet Power Quadrajet Search for power timing thread and make the changes to timing curve. Optional depending on budget. Headers Cam, TA 212 maybe 3.42 gear with posi Nice torque convertor
With a low time engine the work listed above would get you a solid mid 13 car, plenty of fun on the street without the risk of breaking something. For the 4bbl swap you may need a 4bbl throttle cable for a 350. I believe ta sells reproductions now.
