This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

Currently, my dream for my Skylark is to get it into a driveable/presentable condition so I can have some fun with it. Eventually I would like to do sort of a pro-touring style car with a luxury interior. Plans include 1000 HP twin turbo EFI 455, 4L80E or other 4+ speed overdrive auto trans, suspension tuned for a good mix of handling/comfort, 17 or 18" wheels and HUGE disc brakes. Interior would be re-done in leather with heavily bolstered buckets and nice amenities such as heated seats, power everything, nice stereo, maybe some type of NAV system, AC, etc. Pretty much a car that can blow the doors off of 98% of what is out on the streets, but is comfortable to drive on long distances. Pretty much like a new Mercedes CL600 built w/ Buick parts.
I have plans for a lot of other cars I'd like to buy/build/modify, but it will be quite a while before I even get near having the money to get the Buick into the condition I'd like.

    Know your role

My dream is to finally discover what I'm supposed to be doing with my life. (Hopefully before I'm an old man.)

I have always wanted to be able to enter the Wagon project in this:

...and at least finish, maybe dealing out a little Buick Destruction...

I guess that, since I like my job enough that I've stayed for 15 years, I just wish it paid me a lot more. I wouldn't want a better, higher paying job unless I LOVED the job because a lot of people I know with great paying jobs aren't having a lot of fun. They're working too hard to enjoy themselves! Not me! Anyone who knows me can tell you I know how to have FUN! I'd like to do more of what I already do. Travel to Buick races and hang out with friends from far off places. Kinda like John Schmidt does. :TU: I have a pretty easy (civil sevice) job and I get lots of time off and I manage to scrape enough cash together to do what I want, most of the time. So I guess I'm pretty close to living my dream, money issues aside. All I really want is a better truck, a bigger trailer, and to make my car nicer and faster. Nothing crazy. :beer
