The stock studs and lug nuts look real pretty at the show but they do not give me a warm fuzzy at the track. What do y'all use for pure stock? Do the rules allow change?
I didn't until I broke one in the burnout box due to wheel hop. Thank goodness for O type axles being retainer type!!!!
I just installed a set of Strange axles in my car because I still had the original 1970 factory ones in it and didn't want to risk it anymore. I used the studs that Strange supplied, don't know if they are any different than a parts store stud, but they worked with the stock lug nuts.
