Where can I get Trans Cooler Line Fittings?

I have some stainless steel tubing that I'm going to use to bend a new set of custom transmission lines to the radiator but I'll need the fittings that screw into the transmission and into the radiator. Is there any place that I can buy new ones or am I going to have to cannibalize my old lines for the fittings? (I'd rather not if I don't have to).

Should be a generic flare fitting. Wouldn't it be?

There are two different sets of fittings needed. The lines use a 3/8" SAE 90 degree (also called 45 degree) flare tube nut which is widely available, but the transmission requires two less common fittings that screw into the case and provide the steel female SAE port for the lines. Which of the two fitting designs are you looking for?

The Delco part should be fine, but regarding the NAPA parts, instead let's put stainless tube nuts on stainless lines...

Both I guess? I'll need to the ones that screw into the radiator and the 2 that screw into the transmission, or something that will suffice.

I'll have a look for some stainless tube nuts. Are you running 3/8" diameter tubing or 5/16"?

I'm unfamiliar with the fittings in the radiator. What do the female ports in the radiator look like? Are they already machined for the SAE inverted flare? You can tell if they have an angled, cone-shaped seat that mates with the tube flare.

5/16". Yeah they have a small cone that the tube will seat against when the fitting is tightened.

Then I take it by "radiator fittings" you mean the 5/16" tube nuts we've already been discussing, right? If the ports are already sized for the 5/16" tube nuts, no other adapters are needed there.

I need 2 of each of these:

I don't know if you'll find the long tube nut in stainless. The standard short one I linked will do the same job at all four ends.

Yeah I figured I would just use the short one, I dont know if there is any place in town that would carry them so I dont have to wait for shipping, but it seems pretty tough to find their existence in major stores.

What about converting to AN? Much easier to do a single flair than a double.
