Where is a good place to buy?

I need some of the black vinyl upholstery material used in the 1970 GS and GSX. I need some of each type the waffle weave and the leather grained material. I have found what I need at SMS Auto Fabric. $75 a yard for the waffle weave and $55 for the leather grained. The samples appear to be a good match. Has anyone used this supplier? Good or Bad or another source I should check.

I've bought lots of NOS material from SMS. They've always provided exactly what was needed.

A friend got some pretty rare material from them and other than being darker than the original (due to the original material fading over time, not sms's fault), it was spot on and very good quality.

SMS bought out the remaining stock of the supplier for GM which in large part was Collins and Aikman, here, is N.C.

 

I got seat upholstery material for my '61 from SMS. It was a spot-on match to the original material.
