Where is the eng. number on 455

I have a 455? eng and need to know where the I.D. number is on the block. I found a partial number under the back sparkplug. It read 350. Also can you tell me what the numbers mean as far as year and horsepower? I'm in Az. and would like to sell it complete with 400 trans.thanks Terry

the displacement is cast into the rear of the block where the bell housing bolts on at the top. A 1970 455 and casting number is shown in my avatar.

 

Andy, did you change your avatar? that looks lioke a front picture of a 455!
