Hopefully see you guys there. I don't always buy something, but it's something car related to do during winter.
Maybe I'll find some 4 speed stuff or parts for our current project?

I think facebook has a lot to do with it.
Im on several Buick pages, some with as many as 15k people.
I admin one myself with almost 4k people on it

And its real time. A lot of users have instant notifications and that leads to fast answers or feedback on questions

Im guilty of it too, I spend more than an hour a day in total on facebook Im sure

Dont get me wrong, I love V8Buick.com (which there is also a facebook page) and will continue to come here.

HA! I'm scrambling to keep the parts inside the block, let alone keeping up with the other 340's. It will be coming out again in spring to address a loss of oil pressure to the top end. Hopefully I get it back BEFORE PSMCDR 2017!! Bob K sez I should have a 12.70 in the blue barge:pray:. Maybe getting dropped out of an airplane, but it will have a 12.70 !

    I think you're right Jody.

Sad in a way too. While I joined Facebook recently, I have not embraced it. I'm on the brink of cancelling my account, and would have a couple weeks ago if it hadn't been so hard to do.

A couple friends commented on me joining, right as FB is on the downward swirl. From what I see of FB and Twitter, it's a platform for self promoting types, that thinks everyone has a right to their opinion and needs to know everything about their lives. In my short experiences there, I've learned lots about friends I could have done without.

This was a good place while it lasted, and although a public forum, seemed to have a close knit group appeal to it for me. It was like "Cheers"... A place to call your home.

    Cheers...

I was on Fakebook for about three months. When their algorithms started cutting my feed cause I wasn't adding new fake friends, I did an internet search on how to dump fake book. Followed their instructions, and easy peasy. Dumped it and all of my posts in less than 15 minutes. Been there, enjoyed reaching out to old real friends, but I'm never going back. Not enough time in my day for a site that wants to manipulate me like they want to. Good riddance to em.

I am cheating like hell this year. Got my clutch problem fixed after the race last season that I have been fighting since day one. Got my new rear springs in and will be putting a 3.90 gear in later this month. Hoping for low 13's. Will test in the Spring then on to show season. Doing the GTOAA Nationals this summer also. Only 100 miles from me. Hoping to do well there also.
