I am in the hunt for a full inner trunk mat, in the stock-style cross hatched pattern in black on the greenish color to hide my shabby welding job of my new trunk floor. Does anyone know where is best to order from, or know which dimensions I want and/or which dimensions are only for the bottom of the trunk piece size? Thanks!
Bondo and sand where you have to, and the spackle paint will cover everything. The mat harbors condensation. The trunk mat is available though.
I have also been told to spray some paintable undercoating on the inside of the trunk prior to painting to give it a little texture and help hide the bad welding and seams.
Did you try Year One? I don't buy a lot of stuff from them but I think that's where the trunk mat came from for my GS.
I bought one for my 66 LeSabre from classic buick's.com out of Dallas Or. It is vinyl with a houndstooth finish.:laugh:
