Hello, I am in the progress of disassmbling by 1972 buick skylark suncoupe for a paint job and the car needs new rear quarters - I don't want skins - I want whole new quarter panels (both sides) - Can any suggest a place to purchase a quality rear quarter panels? The only place I can seem to fine them in stock is The Part Place - Has any purchased body panels from The Part Place? If so how did they fit? Thanks,
As I understand it, Joe at the PartsPlace, purchased the dies from Auto Metal Direct (AMD), the original manufacturer of the repro quarter panels. The Panels made from those dies were excellent. You will want to verify this when you speak to the partsplace, as this is second hand information.. If this is correct, and parts can/are being produced from these dies, it's a great thing for us.
