Where to find clock reset knob for '68 Skylark?

I found and installed an NOS clock in my '68 Buick Skylark. However, the clock was missing the setting knob.

So I purchased a set of knobs from Gold Eagle Classics:

(Clock Knob , p/n: A26490 at the bottom-right of the page).

They look about right... but don't fit. The knob won't fit over the shaft, and the nut won't thread onto the shaft. I'm going to return it but I still need a knob.

The problem is these knobs look just like the ones sold by OPGI (OPGI Clock Knob) or Restoration Parts Source (Restoration Parts Source knob) and many other shops. I don't want to order from another place and get the same thing.

Has anyone purchased an aftermarket clock knob and had it actually fit and work on their stock clock? If so, where did you get it?

Kirk, I may have one of these. Let me check my parts stash tomorrow and I'll let you know. On your 68 does the knob slip on the shaft with a screw down the center?

Yup. The reset shaft has two flats, and then the very tip is threaded. It appears that a knob is slipped on to the shaft, engaging the flats, then a set-screw is threaded into the middle of the knob to hold it in place.
