    Hi,

I have just about finished spraying SEM SuperWhite on my interior, trying to bring it back to it's original pearl white finish. I've hread a couple times about finishing with a pearl topcoat...but I can't find the product anywhere. Anybody have a source and part numbers for pearl topcoat? I'd prefer on-line ordering given a choice.

    Thanks!

    Jay,
The Parts Place has the pearl topcoat. I have numbers (not here)... The next question would be which one? They have a lacquer pearl top coat and an enamel.. Anyone?
    Parts Place part numbers:
    PT3043Z
    PT3042Z

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

SEM dye is lacquer based so use the same for the top coat. I have used TPP pearl top coat and it works great. Order this w/e and get 10% off. Has to be an on-line order.

You can go to your local autobody supply store that mixes your paints and they should be able to mix it for you . SEM has 3 clears and then the pearl is mixed in the clear of choice .PPG offers Specialty Coatings which is essentially the same as SEM (laquer base) . They use the same formulas .

I've had laquer pearl topcoat on order with the Parts Place since December 1. I called a couple weeks ago, they told me that product has been on backorder for "like 6 months". Do any of you know another source where I can find a laquer pearl topcoat I can use to finish my pearl white interior?

    Thanks!!!

    Jay
