Hello to all..........Have a 64' electra 225 and my brake line broke and had it fixed......Took it out twice and brake pedal then went to floor. No fluid was in master cylinder and this has happened twice in driving it four times........Do not see where it is leaking anywhere.... What do ya think? :Smarty: ...Thanks
It is probably is leaking under a hub at a wheel cylinder. If one line ruptured it is time for a complete redo--all lines, steel and flex, and all wheel and master cylinders. Have the shoes and drums replaced and turned as necessary.
yep, Jim is right. It is one thing to not be able to go, but not being able to whoa will get you hurt or killed. With that kind of loss you will find a major leak in the system some where. Dont forget to look under the dash at the back side of the master cyl. and around the power booster.
