Which convertible top material?

Canvas-Stayfast or Original Vinyl ?

If you want to keep the car original. I would go with vinyl.
I have a 1972 Buick showroom book and all they list is vinyl, not canvas.

I had my top replaced with an Electron and it's the cat's pajamas. All these tops were vinyl.

 

Electron and Robbins are the best of the lot. Check their websites.

 

I just had an Electron installed on my 65 GS a couple months back and it is perfect !! vinyl of course Gary
