I have 70 and up M-21. Im trying to get a set of shift rods for it. I have an aftermarket Hurst shifter, pt# 391-7308 and a stock style mounting plate. What Hurst aftermarket installation kit will fit with the stock mounting plate? Or will I need to use the aftermarket mounting?
Jason, You can use this installation kit from Jegs to go with the shifter. http://www.jegs.com/i/Hurst/530/373-3163/10002/-1 I used the stock 70 shifter linkage with the shifter you have. I wound up buying a complete, factory 68-69 Old 442 shifter with rods on Ebay. Im going to glom the rods from it and resell the shifter by itself on Ebay. Hopefully reselling the shifter for the same money. Thats the plan anyway
