Which Ignition Box To Go With

    I'm looking at purchasing a new ignition box. I'm looking at the MSD 6AL-2 (dial-type rev limiter, not pills) and the Mallory Hyfire 6AL, it too has a dial rev limiter. Does anyone here have first-hand experience with either of these specific boxes? The Mallory piece is about $50.00 cheaper.

    Any help would be great.

    I use Crane and Mallory I have had 4 MSD boxes the oldst was the best and is still working in a car I sold to a guy in WPG but the otherb 3 are crap and have left me almost straded several times so in my opnion do not use MSD of late the quailty is lower just my.02
