I've updated my Bookmarks twice in two days and I just got this error meassage again. When I get it, my bookmarks get "updated" to the error message! The message reads, "there seems to have been a slight error with the V8Buick.com database. Please try again later, or try your refresh button to reload the page. We apologise for any inconvenience" And of course, when I try again later, I get the error- then when I type in the URL, I get the error. Once I used yahoo to search for V8Buick and I linked to here, but last time that didn't work either...now I'm cutting and pasting thread reply notifications from my mailbox to get here because the URL won't work most of the time... What's up with that?! I literally logged off and thought of something I forgot to check here, clicked the bookmark, and was told the database had a problem.
It was really starting to pi$$ me off a few minutes ago, since I was trying to reply to a couple threads, and I was doing searches for other threads for reference. It would work, and then it would quit....then work again then quit. I kept hitting the refresh button and sometimes it could come back up. I finally went outside to clean my truck out. But I'm back and it seems to be working fine again.o No:
errors Im having the same problem, but when im using Micrsoft Internet Explorer the error hasnt come back
Random hits over here. Does the v-bulletin stuff use a propietary database or is it something a little more popular?
There was a thread about this yesterday and JW says that Mike is working on it. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32670
