I think Bruno knocked down a 1.92 in rounds against me. That is great for a 4spd RA IV Goat!

    Goooo Bruno!

I got lucky and pulled a 1.87 60ft on the 12.54 run.I think the car will pull 1.80's on a well prepped track. We'll see what happens in Kansas City. Now I just need about 5 more MPH.......:Brow:

Wow Wayne that was a lot better than you had been doing .Now if you make that change we talked about I think 1.70's are a possibility on a good track with that car.Barrie Poole always said their 68 Cobra Jet would hook up in a gravel pit compared to their 69 car. :3gears:

I have a few "adjustments" I'll be trying out in KC,If the track hooks as good as Rusty says it will, the results should be favorable.

Larry's LS6 Vette somewhere along the way pulled a 1.77. Not sure how it measured up ET wise but I know that was his best short time.

By the way that is on 100% original springs/shocks/bushings/sway bars on the 13K mile car. Those Vette's just flat work!

My son says, hes still waiting to cross the 60'.
He wants to know who made the loudest BANG? I told him that I thought he did.

Sure hope he has better luck next year! Letting him drive is getting expensive!

Seriously, how many cars broke this year? I thought someone said five but not sure.

We were parked two trailers from Benoit and we couldn't believe how they worked on that car. Someone from their group asked if we were going to try and fix our car, I told him that I contacted the local AMC dealer but but they didn't have the parts and they were going to close soon anyway. He had a good laugh on that.

More than just a half shaft. One of the spider gears lost a tooth which went directly into the ring and pinion. There is a nice chunk missing from one of the ring gear teeth. I think I had that ring and pinion in there for about a month and a half or so.
Not to worry. I have acquired all the parts to fix up everything and repairs are under way and even some updates for strength. The vette will be back stonger than before. Need to get this done so I can get the ball rolling on my new project car that I will be working on this winter.

    Ken,
Did I hear a rumor that you located an early Poncho? A nice one that didn't sell new with wet Christmas presents in the trunk?
