    Hi folks,

Who is making 15X8 wheels? Vintiques still making them? Who else? Who has the best quality?

    Thanks.

Contact Steve Caruso here on the board. He makes them to order and has gotten many positive reviews. I can't remember his screen name but here's his website.

I ordered a pair of 15x8's from Steve AKA Underdog350. They showed up today at my friends place of employment, I haven't been able to pick them up yet.

I've heard a few complaints about Wheel Vintiques. I seen all of the kudos Steve gets here so I ordered a pair from him.

It's going to be a few weeks before I get my new tires. I hope to see the wheels tomorrow..I'll let you know.

That was it, Underdog350 on the board. Thanks, I couldn't remember his screen name. As far as Wheel Vintiques are concerned, I too have heard the bad press but as we all know bad news travels faster/further. I have a set of 15x10 buick rally's from them and they are really nice. The backspacing isn't exactly perfect (that was no fault of there's, that's on me) but they still fit ok and look beautiful. They balanced up just fine and run true so I can't complain in my case. Still, if I was going to do it over I'd go through Steve.

    Hi folks,

Well, I'm sure Steve's wheels are nice but I spoke with him and he told me that everyone has the same/only source for the wheel shells--and that is my problem. Left a Wheel Vintique on in a coupla rains and the pitting started on the shells. Sure, I mad the mistake of not coating them with wax, first, but still...

Due to the E.P.A. restrictions/regulations regarding heavy metals, chrome plating is not as durable as it was a coupla decades ago, and this is a shame.
