That really is sad. That car could have been fixed, not now. Looked like it was pretty nice. I tried the link you posted, and it took me to something else. ??? I've been following that thread on Yenko on the rotting musclecars, but don't recall seeing this car there.

It is amazing. Just last Saturday a guy told me a media blasted '55 Chev two door post car with a 9" rear set up for a big block ended up in the junk yard.

Fortunately, it was sold and not crushed.

    yep 71 W-30.

    let's see H heads > approx $6000-$7000
    71-72 OAI hood > approx $2000-$3000
    71-72 W-30 alum intake > approx $600-$700

it wouldn't surprise me at all if that market bear higher prices for the heads and hood.

Omigod. Know how few of these were made? If it had paperwork, this really is a crime. if it didn't then it's still a crime.

My 65 442 convt was hit like this second time out of the garage after a complete resto. Repaired the frame, put on a whole new rear clip, and saved it. Done right, it was a nice car. Nowhere in the league of this one, though. Wonder where that was and when?
