Looking up the measurements, a '72 GS appears to be about 6 feet wide..is anyone able to confirm that? I wonder if that's mirror to mirror width?
More like 75"...and (sport) mirrors no wider than body crease...and that was size of GM's "intermediate"...:shock:

Was it new from a HI dealer (Schuman)...if so, do you have destination charge info, and from which assembly plant...
I'm actually not sure. I bought it there when I lived in Hawaii. I don't have any paperwork on it. The assembly plant was Fremont according to the VIN.
