I have owned my 69 Wildcat for 10 years. Unfortunately she has been parked for the last 7 Years because I blew the head gasket and could not get the replacement to seal. Well it lookes like I finely have the time and money to get her back on the road. I found this site looking on line for some help with questions I had. So here here I sit looking thru this wealth of knowledge hoping some of it will rub off on me. So I can join my Wildcat brothers on the road.
Welcome to the WildCat family, There quite a few cat lovers here, that can help you expand your knowledge of the Wildcat. Any Pictures :kodak:
Welcome to the site! You'll find everything you need to know here. Make extensive use of search and ask when you can't find answers. And yes, we need pics!
Welcome to the site!! Always room for another W.O.T.!Gotta love those landyachts with miles of metal and chrome...
I believe the color is called Flame Red. The only picture I have handy is from when I first got the car....missing trim & all. .......and that picture was thousands of dollars ago! Rick
Welcome to the fold! Rick, comparing paint chips, Flame Red from '65 is very, very close to Granada Red from '64. You car is Flame Red, paint code "R."
The paint is not original. The car was originally white with red interior. I think the color was called arctic white. .......and as far as comparing the '64 Wildcat to the '65.....well there is no comparison. The '65 stands at the top. Just messin' with ya my coona$$ brother. I love all the CATS! Rick
Just keep beating your Aggie teeth together, Rick. After you get A/C in that 'Cat a '77 Granada will out run it! :eek2:
