will 64 Special hood latch and bracket work on 65?

    Hello, I have someone interested in buying my 1964 Buick Special 2 door hood latch, and long vertical bracket which ties into the grille. His application is a 1965 Buick Special 2 door. Do these parts completely interchange? Thanks for any info on this.

    I think they are identical. I put the hood from my '64 skylark on my '65 GS w/ no issues

    Thanks. That answers interchangability of the hoods. I'm curious-did you swap out the 64 latch (which bolts to the radiator support) and vertical bracket (which bolts to rad support, and grille) onto your 65 also?

    Nope, that's what I meant - any latch parts involved on the hood or on the car required no changes. I unbolted from the hinges and moved it over.
