Will a 1977 4 barrel intake fit a 1970 Buick 350. My parts store told me they were different
Will I be losing performance with a 1977 over a factory 1970 4 barrel intake?

Has Anyone used the ta performance intake and eldelbrock carb package they sell. I have read on the forums where people love the stage 1 intake and qjet carbs but I was looking at their package deal.

will bolt on - but - i think there is a gasket match dif .
'73 , i think , and newer intakes have the extra egr ports n passageways and that may make for the dif gaskets and may affect performance . 68-72 intakes should be a no problem swap .
best carb n intake street combo will be the TA intake or oem cast intake ( heavy ) with properly set up q-jet . contact ken or mark here on board for quotes etc . both will probably see this and chime in . both get very high marks for product quality .
cliff also but he is usually backed up it seems like . ken has info down in vendor section ( everyday performance ).
edelbrock - it'll run "ok" but you will sacrifice max performance , driveability and fuel economy . with OEM manifold you will need adapter ( use the 4 hole style ) , TA intake will match up ok but you may want to also use the metal flat gasket plate kit with that .

I am running a TA intake with a carb built by Ken at Everyday performance. Ken is super helpful with upgrade options as I alter the car here and there. If i remember correctly, he's even asked for ET slips and recommended new metering rods. What a guy.

The car runs great and the carb is now about 4 years old I think. Never had a single problem.

That TA intake will reduce weight by 40 LBS I think.

Thank you for the response. I would check out those carps. I might just go with a TA Intake so I know it will fit.

    alec296 i need another buick

The intake should fit. I agree on not going with the edelbrock. Ran it myself. Exhaust gets very hot at highway speed . Too lean. Sent my stock quadrajet quadrajet power and just waiting on it to be sent back.

I order a ta performance intake and a q jet carb. The people at ta performance have been very helpful.
