Will somone please sell me some sport mirrors?

I need a set of sport mirrors for my 1970 GS. I dont care is the paint is bad, I just want the glass to be in good shape. The rest of the car is primer anyway, so color doesnt matter. I have a collection of sport mirrors from NON GS cars from morons and liars from e-bay that swear they fit a gs.

CAN SOMONE HELP ME OUT?????????

Please let me know if you have a set for sale or for trade....

Everyone on this site seems very honest and friendly, but just in case...Please no offers to sell me a pair for $250 like the last guy....

Certain years Olds will fit but as I recall Pontiac does not in the sense they will not sit straight.

How soon do you need them?????
My best luck with proper fit is the 70-81 F-body (Camaro/Firebird)
sport mirrors. The 75-up versions have "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR" etched on the pass. side mirror. Not all of them have that but most do. With the F-body versions, all you have to do is rotate the base gasket 180 degrees to make the mirror head sit parallel to the ground.

I may be able to get a pair in the next week or two. Waiting for the local yard to process a couple hundred cars so the Camaro that has them will be available for parts. Please email me directly at GStage1@buickperformance.com

I have a pair of sport mirrors! The one is dated coded 3-dmi-1 or 8-dmi-1. They are in pretty good shape. They have a few scratches in the mirrors. I guess I don't know what is acceptable to you! $100 for the pair. I can send pics of them if your interested. They look to be the same shape as what fits my 71 gs conv.

Randy I believe they were off a gs. Based on the mirror date code, they would be a 71.

 

Does anyone know if the doors are different for a 1970, than they are for a 71-72? My car was pieced together, Im not even sure what year the doors are, I think they may be 72 doors....Do the sport mirrors fit 70-72?

This is why Im afraid to buy off ebay, those look just like the several pairs that I have that dont fit. Its so hard for me to tell if they are buick mirrors or not from the pics. I like ebay for most items, but in this case Id rather trust members here. I have never been screwed over by any of you, but ebay has gotten me a few times.

mirrors..

Im still searchin for some mirrors....if anyone has any please let me know. I dont care about color, because any color other than black will have to be sanded and painted anyway. I'd like the glass to be nice, but they are not going on a show car. Please let me know. Also Id trade for them if I have anything that anyone would want in trade. I have a decent amount of stuff laying around, if you need something just ask.
